The predictors seem to be advocating buying as much real estate as you can and expect a good return within 3-5 years.  I think you can do better if you pick your investment property well while these basement prices remain.

Interesting chart?? What is the basis of this data???

Though I believe the housing market will continue to rebound in this local market, 45%????  

Don't want to question the data...just love to see the backup as all of us have clients and are investors(if at all money savvy).

I think most savvy investors would ask a lot of questions about where these figures came from, before jumping on board.

Brian, 

Like any investment portfolio, don't put all your eggs in one basket (or financial option)!  We love real estate investing, buying low and at great interest rates make this an incredible market to leverage OPM - other people's money.  Get with a good Realtor who knows their investment and rental market area.

I can't see where any investor will go wrong buying in today's market.  Those figures really tell the tale.
