This video from RE/MAX International came out last year but is just as relevant today.
There's only 20 days left to find a house, agree on a price and terms with the seller(s), and get a contract in place in order to take advantage of the Homebuyer Tax Credit. Remember that you must have a ratified contract (all terms signed off on by buyers and sellers) by April 30, 2010 to qualify for this tax credit of up to $8,000 for first time homebuyers and up to $6,500 for move-up buyers.
One more thing: you must close and settle on the house by June 30, 2010.
Don't Kick Yourself for Missing Out on the Homebuyer Tax Credit

I'm taking appointments and can help you find a place to live. 20 days is more time than you think. I've helped many buyers find homes in much less time.
To accomodate the high volumes of Northern Virginia home buyers seeking to take advantage of the client, I've opened up additional daytime, evening and weekend hours.
Call me anytime. Just not after mid-night EST.

Brian...I'm not with REMax, but that's a pretty good commerical. I guess it would look kinda strange and get people all confused if I used it!
But it does get the point across!
Don't you just love that video! The deadline is coming up fast. First time homebuyers are going to lose out if they don't hurry.
only 20 days? DANG - Now I am stressed! 20 days before I take day off !!!
Hi Brian...Hopefully you'll have some other first time buyers taking advantage of this opportunity. I have not had one but that does not surprise me. We have a different market at the lake.
