The other night I snapped a photo of this flyer that's hanging in the elevators in the condo where I live, Alexandria Knolls West:
A condo that gives to the community. That's something that can make me proud of where I live.
Does your condo or neighborhood give to the community? Little things like this really do make a difference.

It is nocie to see signs like this rather than, The boilers will be off, or fees are going up and many of the other signs today we see. Thanks
Brian,
Thanks for sharing your story. Community involvement goes a long way in helping with projects like this one. I too like to participate in helping with the locals and making the world just a little better.
It seems like everytime we do something nice it comes back to us in some way or another.
That's great. There are a lot of communities giving that most aren't aware of. It is good to let people know...
Brian, its nice to help out the animal shelters. A good cause giving back to the community.
That is very nice of your condo association. Animal shelters in England even took donations of old easy chairs and sofas for the dogs to sleep on.
Cheers,
Robin
The world can be changed by a multitude of small acts of kindness and compassion.
Hello Brian, This is a great idea, thanks !
Brian-What a great way to help out the local animal shelters.
Nice touch. Glad to see your association does something positive. Mine seems to be focused on sending nasty grams to owners instead of making a better community :-)
Brian what a great idea! Our office just finished a food drive for our Raleigh food bank - huge success! I'll look into this one...
(sorry I didn't get a chance to personally meet you at #REBCRLBG... great day! Oh - and remember today's Nannette's b/d)
Hi Brian...This is especially helpful at a time when charity contributions are down and need is up. The animal shelters are having a hard time like many other organizations.
Kate
Brian - Good for your condo management group. For all the deadbeats who are walking away from their property and leaving animals behind to starve or (maybe) be rescued, it's great to see folks going in the other direction.
Michael
That is so nice! I love that you have an association that does stuff that isn't annoying!
