This morning while showing homes to a couple who's been searching for quite some time, we ran across this:
THE ABSOLUTELY COOLEST LITTLE BOY'S ROOM EVER!
My client's gasped -- "Honey, we wouldn't even have to repaint the room -- He'll LOVE it!"
It was so cool that I just had to snap a photo of Spidey to share with you.
I showed this photo on my camera to several agents in my office (agents who have little boys at home) and they all agreed:
This is THE ABSOLUTELY COOLEST LITTLE BOY'S ROOM EVER!
I've seen good paint jobs and really really bad paint jobs, but who would have thought that a paint job like this would help to sell a home?

That's awesome! Hope they buy it!
Its cute for a little boy but I would hate to be the one to repaint that room.
Is that a painting, or wallpaper? That's pretty cool.
Whatever it takes to sell a home. Wonderful room for any young boy.
It would be a cool big boy's room, too. Just ask my dad. He's got a Spidey tatto (kinda similar to the painting, actually) on his arm. I'm happy to say, some boys just don't grow up. :)
You never know what is going to catch a buyers attention.
Brian - I know that I would have loved that when I was a kid. Very cool indeed!
Brian - It's hard to believe how Spiderman and others keep coming back in style. That was my son's favorite almost 30 years ago and he would have been in heaven if given a room like that to hold all his his matching toys and clothes! I think Spidey has come back 2 or 3 times since then. The power of marketing to our children is amazing. Mike
Brian, that is Awesome! The title to your post says it all!
One thing that I know for sure - we will never get to the point that we can predict what will motivate a buyer to select a particular house. "Coolest Room Ever" absolutely applies to this painting and room. However, it limits the number of buyers by being so specific.
I hope your clients purchase this home and get the bonus of a room painted exactly like what they like. It would be a shame to neutralize such a fabulous decorating feature in order for it to appeal to a larger group of buyers.
Brian - That is AWESOME! Any little boy will pester the tar out of those parents.....can ya hear it ...."I want the Spiderman house Dad!!!"
That's really cute. Who's little boy wouldn't want spiderman. Sure beats the mustard yellow with green stripes in the home I just listed!
Ha Ha! As I write this, my husband and our own little boy are sitting here watching Spiderman. That's a house the buyers will certainly remember.
And to think we tell our sellers to paint every room in a neutral color.
How cute!!!! Love it.
WOW. That is great! I wonder where they found that painter!
Where'd you get that picture of my room?
Sounds like you might enjoy this for your room..aay Brian?
OH, I can't let my son see this or we would be painting his room tomorrow for sure!
